S Harrison transport of Sheffield were famous for running old British lorries long after the Continentals like Scania and Volvo had arrived. They were still in use up to the 1990’s despite their designs dating from the 1960’s and before . Sydney and one of his sons Peter (depicted) were the sort of characters that made this country great and I for one wish there were more like them
