I learnt to drive in a later one of these! Great memories and beautifully painted David.

Very nice painting, with a link to I presume a photograph?.

What a wonderful, nostalgic scene. I love it David.

The painting is a not from a photograph, none exist, but I specialise in reconstructing scenes from descriptions and this is one such, using details of vehicle etc. I used an old photo of the lady and reposed her etc., the hose is a ruin but enough remains to work out what it looked like.

A really fine piece of work and innovation David. A great memory of bygone days. My first car was a Morris Minor with a split windscreen, starting handle and indicators that popped out of the door frame.

Great painting - would make a fab jigsaw!
