A touch of Cezanne about the brushwork in this. Very attractive and atmospheric. We are asked to upload only one painting a day to give everyone a chance of comments

It's not a rule, just a request from some users of the site. You'll find a fair amount of argument on the subject! Good strong colour in this; like the patches of light and the recession achieved through perspective rather than any noticeable fading away of tones - works well.

I really like this impressionistic style with the bold positive colours. That ray of sunshine is beautiful. Lovely gallery by the way.

Nice one Clive, very atmospheric. JAD

A very successful portrayal of a bluebell wood, very atmospheric! Thank-you for all your comments on my work.

Realy lovely - a sense of a bluebell wood without painting a single bluebell. Love it!

Me, too. I love it. can't say why. As jean says- not a lot of bluebells as such to be seen but it just does it for me. Well done.

You have handled the dappled light beautifully - very atmospheric. Lovely work

I like this a lot Clive. It works on every level
