The colours of the rocks are lovely with the reflections. I like the way the dazzling bright light beyond the cave entrance contrasts with it and the canoeist paddles out into the light.

Thanks you everyone for your wonderful comments. And it's good to hear the positive mention about the figure...I deliberated quite a while before painting it in. I did a mock up first, on tracing paper, and stuck it in various positions on the painting, before I decided. It really helped! Ha ha and Alan Bickley - I'm glad you repented your sins! You are forgiven...
