Beautiful watercolour, Christoff. There's a real sense of space. I think the trees along the edge of the arête/ridge are a bit dark, given the distance. Perhaps aerial perspective would have dulled them a bit. I liked you sky very much and have taken note of your snow colours. *smile* Brian

Lovely to see your paintings again which capture the majestic mountains.

Lovely light and tonal recession - great work

This is a great depiction of a mountain in watercolours. I consider mountains as a very challenging subject. This is beautifully done. Bravo!

So atmospheric. I love the blues and use of hard and soft lines

Watercolor 56x38cm on Saunders Waterford, 640g rough. Sometimes clouds disappear as fast as they come and give way to a stunning view. This was the case when I was skiing at my home town "resort" the Kellerjoch. I looked across the Inn-valley towards the Karwendel mountain range with the Fiechter Spitze (2299m) as the main summit. Luckily I had my camera with me. In my studio I created the painting this morning.
