Kalkkögel
Watercolour 32x98cm on Arches 300g rough, stretched. This panoramic view has been spread out in front of us, when we went up with the Olympia-Express mono rail to the Hoadl mountain hut. I have been attracted by the multi peaks illuminated by the sun from behind. Long shadows in funny shapes reached down the snowy mountain fields of the so called Kalkkögel. I couldn't resist. I had to paint it.
