I actually like it as is and I think the addition of birds may detract the eye. There's a lovely sense of isolation and quietness which is very peaceful.

I personally do not like birds in the sky. I like the tranquillity of it as it is.

Bamburgh Castle is a lovely quiet place and you have caught the serenity superbly. Leave it as it is in my opinion. The composition is perfect.

A quick landscape on a long piece of off cut Pastelmat paper that was left over from a previous painting. Does it need any birds in the sky? Any advice appreciated.
