Painted on Saunders Waterford 300lb rough I wanted to take a photo of the George Hotel at Alstonefield but this tree is always in the way{ Its a massive big tree} any other angle not a good composition, so did settle for this.--- Reason--- When out walking in Derbyshire this little public house has been one of our favourite watering holes.---- Last time we were there May 12th this year we arrived 12-05pm only 6 people in the place, we gave an early order.---- By 1-15pm people were being asked to sit outside about 90 odd people already seated wanting lunch, and this on a Wednesday ---- about 25--30 were children , should they not have been at school --- not a kill joy just a thought---- Blimey --I am like an abstract artist need to write a book to----- tell you what my painting is all about.
