Excellent charcoal painting Charles, beautiful spot, the river is full of movement

I can tell you are enjoying working with charcoal - it shows - another lively picture.

Really nice Charles, the water is really good.

I haven't worked with charcoal but seeing this super piece I am well inspired.....!l

This is wonderful, Charles. It looks just like a lttle bridge a mile or so from our home, and the stream is as rushing as yours... you've shown that so well.

Excellent Charles...the movement in the water is especially good.

This is really a beautiful charcoal painting, Charles. Even without any colour one can imagine the whole scene. Stunning!

Another good charcoal drawing / painting Charles. If you would like suggestions, perhaps you could add a little more tone near the water for more contrast?

Wonderful charcoal work again. The water is so good with the white highlights.

This is just excellent, Charles! Every piece is an improvement from the previous one. You are really good at this - I really can't imagine how you managed to depict so much detail with black and white! The tonal work is really superb!

Yet another beautiful painting in charcoal and as Seok says the tonal work is superb. I suppose you could call this style monochrome couldn't you ?
