I predict that you're going to be in that top ten again next time! This painting is wonderful!

I agree with the above comments - another worthy painting Charles.

I keep coming back to this - very eyecatching and different. Well done

Charles this is wonderful.........I love the sky and foreground. Stunning!! Congratulations on the 'top ten'.

Your charcoals work very well Charles, you have used wonderful colours in this one.

Certainly a bit different from your usual, Charles. Very atmospheric. Yes - I can't wait for the snow - won't be much worse than the "summer" we have had up here!!

I agree with all the above comments, another lovely painting Charles

Great work, Charles. I see that you are still pushing all the boundaries with you charcoal work and now acrylics. You seem to be able to master whatever medium you turn your hand to. Lovely colours and textures in this painting.

Painted on Two Rivers 300lb rough. painted from an old photo.----- its just Derbyshire at about 3pm on a February day. Not what I usually paint, but I did enjoy -- made a change and at times that is what we all need. --- my real change is that charcoal stuff. -- its taking over-- do not seem to be able to leave it alone --- but then again its got me two paintings in the top 10.--THANKS all for comments on that --Chas ---- JUST to let Ann Cook know that it will soon be October
