Love the texture you get with Bockingford Rough, when you know what you're doing with it; which you do. And anything's good enough to sketch on - naturally, we take disapproval of cigarettes for granted (cigars for me...). Interesting to go back to a conversation on the forum page, where someone asked about paper for oil and acrylic - I really don't think there is any paper that's as good for acrylics as w/colour paper; wonder if you've ever used any other paper?

This is again a beautiful addition to your beautiful gallery, Chas.

I found Arches 300lb paper great to paint on I don't know the price as I was given it and still have some left, but with the high cost of framing I have been using box canvases lately, Love the light in this Chas almost mytical.

Another wonderful piece, Charles. The placement of the main tree is brilliantly done, and makes a superb composition.
