Another great one, Charles. Thanks for your reply. My snow pics are not all from experience. I looked up Russian painters on line (Google images) and found plenty to inspire me. I'm trying NOT to paint snow at the moment! Actually what with visits to dentist (150 miles round trip) and vet (50 miles round trip) and MISERABLE weather I haven't put brush to paper for ages. Sun is out today - so plenty of outside work to get on with - AND everything takes longer as we get older!!! - also constant search for inspiration!?!? By the way, my tipple is brandy - but I don't smoke. Don't think our conversation is strictly painting - but who cares - age must have its liberties!
