Very lovely Charles, you are getting better, nice composition

Charles, is there anything you can't do?! Both your charcoal drawings are super. A lot of atmosphere, and great tone. Lovely indeed.

I told you to do another! I think this is much better, the light on the clearing floor stands out really well. I have done a few studies with charcoal and then painted watercolours from them - the charcoal study always seems better!

Striking image, lovely sense of light

Brilliant Charles!!

You've created a lovely 'mood' with this painting Charles, looking forward to seeing some more!

I like this too. I like the light on the background pines and the little clearing. Super composition.

Glad you used "proper" charcoal - it works so much better than stuff half-inched from the barbie.... You've made enormous progress in the space of just a couple of pictures.

Fantastic work in such a difficult medium. I needed hosing down when I tried working in charcoal!!

Congratulations Charles , Top ten gallery yet again, and richly deserved.

Well done Charles, you really deserve it, you charcoals paintings are fantastic
