Charles, ENVY is definately the word, not of the location but your talent for producing beautiful paintings whatever the scene.

Love the colours - and the trees and background are magic.

A beautiful spot beautifully painted.

A lovely spot , problem with these lovely old cottages is usually their rather old loo's and having to use bottled gas, still great to look at though Charles, well done : )

This is beautifully executed (as usual). It's a beautiful scene and the trees are really well done.

I'd happily put up with the old loos and anyway, I live in an old Victorian mansion (or rather, a very small corner of it) which is fuelled by bottled gas. So, Charles - shall we go halves? This looks like a perfect spot for any artist.

I agree with all of the above it would suit me fine I used to live in a place very like that. However we did have proper loos and electricity.I am quite new to this site and it is the first time I have seen your gallery which I think is great.I have tried acrylics and just cannot get on with them.same wih oils.Thankyou for your comment on my pastel lady.

I love your really original handling of acrylic, which doesn't let the paint get the upper hand, if you know what I mean. This is super.
