Crossing The Stream

This is great, I love the impression of the fast flowing stream and the fact that the figure could be about to fall in.

Really lovely work - thanks for sharing Chandra!

A painting must say something to be effective. ; this does. Nice work Chandra.

Want to offer a helping hand as I am sure it’s slippery underfoot, Chandra, love the abstract quality which you have cleverly combined with a the figure which then tells a story.

Very, very clever Chandra, and so beautiful.

This is a fascinating painting, Chandra, with beautiful colours. Lovely work.

Wonderfully done Chandra.

Really well done Chandra, it shows how insignificant we are amongst the chaos of nature, great pallet and rock structuring, brings back quite a few damp and cold memories, nice one.

Now this is a very exciting painting. Love it. It would be too complicated for me to explain why I think that, but it is exciting. - just think marks, shapes, colours, composition. Great.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments! The scene was inspired by memories of days spent on the fells in The Lake District scrambling over rocks and streams...... and yes, those stones can be very slippery indeed! I love making shapes and marks in the paint and seeing where it takes me.....usually somewhere I love to be!
