Thank you so much for your lovely comments, Willie, Carole, Heather , Fiona and Katy. Wildflower meadows stretching away into the distance are always among my favourite memories of Summer. Carole, in answer to your question, I used acrylic paint for this , some applied with a palette knife to give a more 3 -dimensional and textured feel to the flowers in the foreground.
