Lovely painting, full of colour....love the reflections.

Stunning colour, lovely reflections.

Hi Carole...I like it, happy colours, good reflections and shadow. Well done you have certainly pulled this one off.All in perfect balance. The decaying beauty of old industrial buildings are often overlooked by the average artist. Consider visiting Torksey Lock?

Who would have thought that industrial buildings would make such a great painting? Beautiful colours and reflections and I like the hint of the houses on the distant hillside.

I find the blue a little strong but then that's just me. Well done with the terraced houses which coudl easily have been too strong. they work really well. I like industrial scenes.

Must have been one ofthe only summer days to get this lovely colour. The reflections are just great.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. The houses in the background where difficult - trying to get a sense but not too much - blimey that was a learning curve Diana - you are right - for some reason my camera will not pick up the correct blue - I had to saturate the colour in the photo to get everything bright as in the original painting but at the same time the blue was over saturated - i.e. it's not that bright in the original! Phew - you know, we do babble on don't we! Thank you anyway for looking folks!

Third in a series depicting the different views from Trent Bridge Nottingham. Although this is the industrial side I loved the colours and reflections - much more interesting I think 39 x 16 inch deep edge canvas - acrylic
