Stunning, Carole.Depth, lights, colour - all great

Very well observed and painted, excellent Carole.

Stunning reflections and colours, and great technique, Carole.

Wow is all I can say and perhaps superb too!

We have a rival to Lesley Dabson, our greatest painter of water. This is - well, brilliant; I can't begin to understand how you've done it: I'm not even certain of the medium?

Wow - an extremely accomplished piece. As someone else has pointed out it is actually quite difficult to work out what medium you have used as it looks both like an oil painting and a watercolour. Superb.

Thank you for all your generous comments. It's painted in acrylics and is quite large - 36" x 30"
(900 x 730mm). It was originally titled "Little Fishes" as there was a shoal of 'tiddlers' swimming around- you can just see them throught the dark brown reflection on the left hand side.

love the movements and the colour.

O WOW!! It could easily make people believe it is a photograph!! Brilliant work I must say.

Agree with everyone, fabulous!

Such a realistic painting.

This is SO masterly. Quite wonderful.

Love it for the complimentary colours in tone, simplicity with skill, rhythm, movement and light.

The water movement is first class. The blobs of foam make it alive.

A masterpiece of reality.. , even as a dedicated semi abstract landscape artist myself ,i have to take my hat off to you i am intrigued to know the medium you used? magical work Carole

I thought at first that it was a photo.:)

I'm probably not supposed to have an opinion as I'm married to the artist, but living with the image which hangs in Carole's home gallery in Brittany, its a constant reminder of her talent. The other paintings in a collection covering water and reflection go towards the abstract and are just as compelling.
James Kingston author/producer

This is stunning, amazing water, what medium was it?

Sorry, just missed the medium.
