Another beautiful painting, Carole. Had a friend who lived in New Hartley so know the location fairly well.

This is beautiful Carole.

Beautiful colours in this Carole. Looks like a lovely place to walk.

Lovely, really colourful!

Really beautiful Carole. I love the autumn colours.

Thank you so much for such supportive comments David, Stephen, Christine, Lynda and Tessa. I have lost my confidence because I have macular degeneration and I’m struggling to see properly. Have adapted my style to accommodate this so feeling a little unsure of myself. Thank you so much for giving me back some confidence. It means so much to me.

Love this Carole, you've captured a really good woodland atmosphere

This is great Carole, love your use of colour.

Thank you so much Trevor and Lewis for your kind comments.🌞🌞

I love the Autumnal feel to this and what a great colour palette

Thank you Heather and John for your lovely comments. Much appreciated.

Loving all those marks Carole all coming together loosely in a fine composition -great!

Like the idea of an acrylic underpainting with oil pastels on top. I think you are gutsy to tackle such a difficult subject as a walk in the woods which reveals your love of that particular place. The foreground trees are skillfully painted with volume and character leading into light and beauty.

Thank you so much Bobbie, Willie and Lynn for such supportive feedback which is so encouraging.

Very beautiful Carole 😍

This is fabulous Carole - love how the path leads you into the painting.

Was inspired to paint this from a walk in the woods nearby where I live. The sun was shining through the trees and it looked ready for autumn to descend. Painted from my photos at home. Used an acrylic underpainting and finished off with oil pastels 30 cm x 42 cm, on pastel paper.
