I can see a lot of time and thought has gone into this resulting in a lovely scenic and beautiful painting.

I live in Warkworth and this is a lovely pastel, particularly as the view is away from the castle instead of the usual composition. Love your Amble painting too, it has so much movement.

Hello Carole Thank you so much for writing back to me. I'm afraid it would be difficult to get hold of proper art supplies in Dubai and I did try ordering stuff online once but it was always tough getting stuff delivered. I do like watercolour and I just a couple of days ago I came across a Youtube video by an American art supplier who showed us how to stretch watercolour paper but without the need for brown sticky tape or wooden board. He demonstrated it and it seemed to work so I shall try it. It involves a gator-board, which I already have. I don't have space really. I mostly work on my bed and rest things on my lap so I have to be very frugal with what I buy. It's actually a chore getting my painting materials out and then putting them away so I can sleep on my bed :) It was lovely hearing from you. I do like this painting a lot
