Lovely work Brian, it is watercolour and J.C. lived up the road, so don't feel too bad! Incidentally, Gallery Oldham has some lovely tonal watercolour studies by J.C., presumably info for future oil paintings.

On the contrary Brian, this is a fine piece of work. JC would doff his cap to this!!! I took pictures while I was there so this is on my "to do list" other things keep getting in the way!!

Just came across this one. I painted almost the same view. It was my first landscape in acrylic and came out rather luridly bright. but this is lovely.
