We had a print of this famous painting hanging on the wall at work a few years ago. I thought I would get my oil paints out and see what I could do.

Howard Behrens was an amazing artist and master of the palette knife. He may not be that well known in the UK, but if you want a visual treat, Google search his name. Sadly he passed away in 2014 after battling with Parkinson's disease. I learnt a lot about the use of the palette knife while tackling this painting.
