As per my comment yesterday, I think there is something wrong when viewing images in the gallery using the Firefox browser. Once again, this image appears too red and over-saturated. It looks fine if I open the image using Firefox locally or whe using Photoshop or Lightroom on my PC. Strangley, it also looks ok when viewing the gallery using MS Edge. I use a good quality colour calibrated Eizo monitor. I have never seen this issue when I upload images to flickr. The jpg embedded icc profile appears to be as it should i.e. sRGB IEC61966-2.1. My Firefox colour management is configured thus:- gfx.color_management.mode = 2 (Color management applied only to tagged image). gfx.color_management.display_profile = blank gfx.color_management.rendering_intent = 0 (Perceptual) I am baffled. Could it be that the gallery image viewing software is ignoring or altering the embedded icc profile in some way?

I discovered that if I change the Mode on my monitor from 'Calibrated' to standard 'sRGB', the red over-saturation issue goes away. I don't fully understand why. I imagine has to do with the gamut range of the monitor.

A superb painting skilfully executed, have often noticed that colours are changed when they are uploaded to the gallery, sometimes quite a noticeable difference.
