This is superb Brian ! I love everything about it. The dcale is described brilliantly as is the architecture. Figures amazing too. One of those paintings that makes me stop and stare. Just wow!

The Temple of Karnak near Luxor; an awe- inspiring complex, contributed to by some 30 pharoahs during the Middle and New Kingdoms. The sense of history and sheer scale of the architecture are overpowering. Painted in my studio from record photographs taken during a late afternoon visit with the shadows lengthening. The lady with the red shoulder bag is my wife. Watercolour.
