Terrific rendition of the scene Brian. A real sense of atmosphere. Nice work.

Fantastic Brian, you really have captured the sheer scale and splendour of this magical place.

Magnificent painting, Brian, and great rendition of architectural majesty. Great atmosphere.

Awesome in every sense of the word, Brian!

A superbly clever water colour Brian

This is superb Brian ! I love everything about it. The dcale is described brilliantly as is the architecture. Figures amazing too. One of those paintings that makes me stop and stare. Just wow!

Another great work, Brian

This is wonderful Brian. You have captured the historical importance with your cleverly painted statues towering above everything. I’m sure your visit will remain a treasured memory in years to come.

The Temple of Karnak near Luxor; an awe- inspiring complex, contributed to by some 30 pharoahs during the Middle and New Kingdoms. The sense of history and sheer scale of the architecture are overpowering. Painted in my studio from record photographs taken during a late afternoon visit with the shadows lengthening. The lady with the red shoulder bag is my wife. Watercolour.
