I was 5 minutes late to the Friday Group last week - so I got a really difficult profile view of our portrait model and had to imagine away a lighting stanchion that was obscuring Hazel's hair! Still valuable portrait practice though, working in a medium I'm comfortable with (pastel pencils on coloured MiTientes paper).
