I'm watching Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 on Sky Arts at the moment, and thought I'd see if I could produce a self portrait in 4 hours. I chose pastel pencils on grey Mi Tientes coloured paper - a medium I'm really comfortable with - and I finished it in three and a half hours over 3 sessions.
