I was out early this morning painting en plein air with the Ludlow Friday Group at the old Grade 1 Listed church in Richard's Castle, Shropshire. It was a hazy flat light day, so I focused on the building. Soft pastel and pastel pencils on copper coloured A3 Sennelier pastel paper.
