Aha that explains the title Mick, which seemed at first glance to have nothing to do with your pastel, but now it becomes clear and I know what you mean, can't imagine how the Ray Bradbury story went with a title like 'something wicked this way comes', probably says more about what was going on in your thought process, but anyway, this is a lovely bright work, just the fact that you use pastel in your landscapes gets my interest, at the moment I am doing pet portraits with the occasional person portrait, so the effort that goes into full landscapes always gets me going! I have fond memories of Ray Bradbury's creepy stories as well, so works all round for me!
