Thank you, Carole. Rose madder genuine, raw sienna and cobalt in the watercolour background. Added ultramarine, white and some purples in the conte crayons.

I had a go at the same tree in watercolour and Conte crayons, a favourite combination of mine. 36 x 48 cm on Canson Fonteney watercolour paper, 300g. I'm hoping to walk by the tree again on my next visit to my parents when the leaves will be out and I can check what sort of tree it is.
