I've been learning to paint with oils over the last year, having previously specialized in watercolour and drawing. This painting is of a twisted and gnarled tree I saw while out walking with my parents in Ayott, Hertfordshire. 50 x 65 cm on Canson Figeuras paper for oils, 290g.
