Fabulous Brian. Really like how you've achieved depth and perspective.

Thank you very much, Heather, for the generous comments. Very much appreciated. Bri

What a painting! A pleasure to look at it.

Love the wide expanses and those fantastic rocks with that yellow sapling sprouting up. The blanket of fields are superbly painted under that very inviting sky Brian.

Thanks you very much, Lew and Carole, for the highly encouraging comments and analysis. I enjoyed painting this landscape but I'm often left with a niggle or two. Always, to be precise! *lol* Bri

Lovely scene, particulary enjoy the way you have captured to depth and perspective.

Beautifully painted Brian - real sense of distance and height.

Good to have you back Brian! Spectacular!

Thank you very much, Ceri, Margaret and Fiona, for the great comments. I'm pleased the depth, distance and perspective are working well enough, mainly because they're some of the areas I'm still scrutinising. Yes, Fiona, I've finally reclaimed my working space and sorted a few problems out, so it feels good to be back. Thanks for that. Best to all Bri

Great view and depth. Well done Brian.

Oil on canvas board, 50 x 40 cms. This painting shows the rock formation and hill of The Cloud, Cheshire. It acts as a fantastic vantage point and is frequented by many a walker, for the simple pleasure of the view. A footballing friend asked if I could give it a go for him and this is the result. First painting of 2020. Largely wet in wet. Good to be back.
