Thank you Ibolya I am influenced by many artists and try not to mimic their styles too much and it’s nice that you have identified that I have my own style.

You have a very sure hand with these, Barry. And yes, they are instantly recognizable. Great work.

Thank you Karen and Timothy. I will be there in August Karen enjoying my morning walks. Timothy, the mark making for the trees is strongly influenced by Wesson and my friend and mentor Steve Hall.

Thank you Lewis, not my usual palette so I am really pleased that it has been recognised as my work.

Lovely English country scene Barry. The lovely sky works so well.

Beautiful once again, Barry, love your trees. We are all influenced by others we admire, the art is to integrate it into our own recognisable style, exactly what you have done. Great work.

Thank you Stephen I am pleased with the sky . Even when I attend workshops I try and apply what I have learned using my own photographic material rather that copy which I think helps Thalia.

its a beauty Barry love that sky and it takes me back I walked from Dedham to flatford and stratford st mary and all that area

Lovely painting in your great style

This is my kind of watercolour Barry, just wish I could produce them of this quality. Limited palette, lovely fluid washes and what appears to be minimum effort with the brush. Gorgeous!

And another stunner Barry you have so many tools to your arsenal it's enviable agree great skylovely brushstrokes and leads the eye brilliant

Thank you Maureen, Fiona and Dennis, such lovely comments and very much appreciated. The encouragement of fellow artists on this site is truly outstanding and it helps, thank you all.
