Lovely gentle work Barry, this shows more subtlety than your usual work, which is not a criticism by the way. As you say, we have to try out different approaches to our work, this certainly works very well.

Enviable work Barry, I struggle with this method but you have achieved what I aspire to.

My sort of painting Barry. Classy work...

Thank you Stephen, Michael, Jim and Elizabeth you have given me lots of encouragement to explore this style and hopefully produce some more paintings in the future. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Interesting comparison between your picture and the windmill one I just put up Barry. My skyline/horizon is half and half because I wanted the water and sky pretty equal with the focus on the mill. Your main activity and focus is in the fore-ground leaving you a big mild sky and a real feeling of space. Both work well in these cases.

Beautiful fresh watercolour, Barry.

Thank you Cesar.

A delightful painting Barry, lovely palette.

Thank you Margaret.

Expertly handled as usual. An excellent watercolour in the true spirit of the medium.

I like this style Barry...terrific watercolour!

My thanks to Willie and Fiona I hope to produce more in the same style.

This is beautiful, love the clear washes Barry.

Thank you Carole, here's hoping for more in the future.
