I like this very much, Barry. It has a timeless mythic quality...or maybe that's just me.

More than reasonable Barry it's another stunner you can do no wrong. Beautiful

Thank you Lewis and Dennis, great encouragement before our meeting in the pub on Tuesday.

Wonderful painting Barry! Contrast, Impressionism and colour - what more can you want.

Works very well Barry.

Very nice Barry. That salt effect is great.

Thank you Linda, Stephen and Brian. Well spotted Brian I don’t usually use salt but recently used it in a teaching session and thought it might help give some texture in this one.

Another lovely painting, Barry - very atmospheric and beautifully painted.

Lovely result Barry. Perfect semi impressionism. Nice work.

Thank you Margaret and Jim not a subject I would have chosen myself which makes it even more pleasing to get such supportive comments.

Really eye-catching, Barry

Thank you Margaret and Cesare I think I am now happy and looking forward to Tuesday evening.

That’s a lovely watercolour Barry no fussing about just in for the kill and it’s worked beautifully

Great painting with loads of atmosphere, love that shaft of light.

Thank you Dermot and Brian.

This is amazing

Sorry I missed this Barry. So evocative of the Puck's Glen which I walked as a. boy from Dunoon up the Cowal hills above the Firth of Clyde.

Thank you Alan really great to get an endorsement from someone who knows the scene and has walked the path. It was a challenge set by Chris for our Tuesday night challenge.
