Really like this one. Slightly different to your usual work. Excellent as usual.

Has an Easter feel to it Barry

Thanks Lewis, in my ink and wash work I do tend to draw a lot more detail and use ink for dark areas which gives very different results to my watercolours. Yes Brian definitely in the right area set in the Middle East and with it being Easter it has to fit.

I like your drawing style Barry and the trees are great. Good atmosphere here.

Good colour, form and sense of depth Barry.

Love this, Barry, especially the feeling of depth beyond the lovely shadow area.

Thank you Tessa, John and Thalia, it’s pleasing to hear that you feel I have achieved depth in the painting as it’s an area that can make or break a painting.

Like both the topic and the execution Barry. Nice work.

Smashing sketch Barry.

Really like this effect Barry. Great painting.

Many thanks to Jim, Fiona and Rachel, just shows it’s worth putting sketches on the gallery.

This is smashing Barry, pen and ink is so versatile.

Lovely composition, like it very much.

Nice one, Barry. I love pen and wash.

Many thanks Alan, Maureen, Annick and Seth for your lovely comments.

I love pen and wash, and like the composition and colours in this.

It’s very good indeed Barry the pen and wash compliment each other perfectly

Thank you Jenny and Dermot, one of my favourite mediums having ink in your arsenal for the darkest darks is a definite plus.
