Lovely work Barry I think this is one of your best well done indeed

You certainly have achieved a good result! Brilliant.

Thank you Dennis that is praise indeed, and Jennifer thanks for putting my mind at rest.

That's just one beautiful painting.

Oh my goodness, what a set of problems to solve and come out at the other end with a superb painting. So much to look at as the eye travels around. Excellent Barry.

Good work again.

Thank you Lewis, Marjorie and Timothy I have had a few doubts about the finished painting, which is quite normal for me I might add, but your comments have put my mind at rest.

Superbly structured colours and masterful painting Barry brilliant

That’s a mighty task to take on Barry but what a result....superb!

Thank you Dennis, Fiona and John, wow this receiving far more positive comments than I expected. What is it they say that we are our own worst critics.

Well painted - good effect

Skilfully done Barry you've painted the varying perspectives wonderfully -quite a complex scene -quite an achievement.

Thank you Maureen and Willie, I really appreciate your comments.

Very good Barry. So much to look at at and yet not at all detailed. Just enough. Those buildings are so well painted as are the little figures and bikes in the foreground. Quite fascinating ..I keep seeing more. Love it !

It is a tricky one Barry, you've sorted it out really well, establishing some important shadows which hold it all together.

Thank you Louise and Alan, it’s always difficult to decide how much detail to include and I prefer to suggest details and leave the rest to the viewer. Alan you’re so right shadows are so important in this view.

Good result, Barry!

Thank you very much Gudrun and Cesare.

Thank you Sandra.

A complex scene very well handled Barry.

Thanks very much Stephen, I tried to simplify the complexity and hope the viewers eye put in the rest.
