Not sure if it's the reed pen that does it, but the overall effect is great Barry. Nice work.

Terrific effect Barry, I like the skip and dance of home made reed pens over the paper, I use them occasionally.

A while back I saw an article by Jason Bowyer about making your own reed pens. Whilst at Dedham Hall last week I gathered a few reeds and this morning I shaped a pen using my craft knife and used it to produce this small study. I think I will find these homemade pens a useful addition to my drawing equipment
