I really like this, Barry. I admire your work anyway, but this seems a little different. Some great colors in there.

Thank you Lewis and Carole, I am definitely exploring the possibilities that mixed media especially inks can offer. I have been looking at the work of John Blockley and would love to create some of the beautiful textures and contrasts that he achieved in his work.

This leaps out at you, Barry, absolutely brilliant...looking forward to seeing these techniques in larger paintings of yours. As Lewis says , I , too enjoy your work!

Nice experiment - try granulation medium which splits the acrylic ink similar to what Blockley achieved.

Play around with watercolour, acrylic inks, Indian ink using salt, cling film and splatter on this 7”x4” experiment. I want to explore the possibilities of using them in a larger work.
