Thank you Mia, Maureen, Peter and Fred, it was an enjoyable hour painting with friends and I always like painting from life.

Thank you Cesare the umbrellas were an attraction but the waiter is the invention and definitely taken from Alvaro. I must admit the scene looks more Mediterranean than a Wiltshire town in Autumn.

With a painting friend from the north visiting we had a session in Bradford on Avon this morning. Light wasn’t very good but it was great to be outside painting, as I was a little late I did a very quick loose sketch of a cafe near the bridge.
