I like to use ink and wash to when I am painting urban street scenes. My source material was a sketch and a series of photos I took on a sunny day earlier this year. I was attracted by the light on the right side of the road and the figure that was clearing something away from the front of the pub. My ink drawing is produced with a sharpened matchstick/
