You have chosen a very prominent part of the castle so wisely Anne. The stone work and detail are very skilfully painted and the shadows and sunlight make the painting special.

Line and wash on W/c paper 140lbs rough. Ref. own photo. The castle, built in 1069 is the home of the Duke of N/land. It's been used for many filming locations such as Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.
