Oh Anni~ what can I say...it is stunningly beautiful...so colourful...such interesting detail in the surroundings...hope this sells for you too...

Brilliant colour and patterns. So much to see, definatly a happy painting to look at.

Wow, very vibrant and, as Carole says, lots to look at. A lot of work went into this one, well done. There is a thread running on the forum at the moment about titles on paintings, where did your title come from or what inspired it?

Thanks Ken, I have painted in the seven chakra points in the body, each is represented by a different colour. There are a few exhibitions coming up so I will just have to wait and see if someone wants to buy it. Hope your art is going well? Have you painted anything from your holiday in the Channel Islands? Best regards ~ Anni

ooops sorry Phil, it is getting late here, aplogies for calling you Ken...just saw your surname, my barin is slowing up (a blonde moment) . :)

Hi Carole, yes I had all my paints out for this one, lots of mixing, glad it has a 'happy' feel for you, best regards ~ Anni

How long I have considered this Koan but you have given me another slant I had not contemplated.

Hi Val, thanks for commenting. I love thinking about the titles for paintings, sometimes I even think of the title first. The Sound of Ine Hand Clapping is a famous Zen koan (philosophical riddle) which asks, "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" The student of Zen is supposed to meditate on this riddle until some degree of insight or enlightenment occurs. The tricky part is that there is no right answer. Best regards ~ Anni PS> I will have a looksie at the forum you mentioned :)

Hi Ralph, Thank you for taking the time to view/comment on this painting, it is much appreciated. ~ best regards Anni

Hi Anni~ as long as I get called to the food table names are not too critical...yes there is a Church painting from Guernsey...still working on the second one...Ah the Zen thing...the falling tree in the forest and noise?

Hi Judy, thanks so much for looking in and commenting about this work 'The Sound of One Hand Clapping' I took it in for an exhibition at the weekend. So glad you like it ~ Best regards ~ Anni :)

Oh Anni, Where do you find the inspiration for all this? It makes my stuff seem boring. Do you think up a title first then paint a picture to suit, or what? Really do like your works they're wonderful.
