Nice one Anni~ my gallery pick of the day too..love the colours and the light abstraction you you have painted.

Lovely composition and use of colour.

Hello Phil, Thanks for viewing this and your supportive comment. It is an older work which sold while it was on the wall at a nearby cafe/restaurant. The pohutukawa is a beautiful tree, it is sometimes called the Chritmas Tree because it is often in bloom at that time of the year here in New Zealand. Kind regards ~ Anni

Hello Lesley, I had a few learning curves with this painting...never painted pebbles or a pohutukawa tree before and had to be careful with the perspective of the boat shed. Good to paint different things though, it keeps art fresh. Thank you for looking, I wonder what you are painting at the moment? ~ Fond regards Anni

Acrylic on canvas Idyllic situation, an old boat house, crystal clear sea, a sprinkling of pebbles and a beautiful Pohutukawa in full bloom. Just sit and listen to the water ebb. www.annimorris.com
