My goodness, Annie, this is another brilliant piece of work, and I admire your ingenuity. So well done!

Very innovative Anni. I have just bought some pastels as the colours were so enticing. Trying to use them now!

Now I know that my hoarding habits can sometimes pay off. I fished out a large bagful of old make up products and had some fun last night. All those old eye shadows, nail polishes, eye pencils, foundations etc… played their part in this creation. I was very surprised just how well they blended with my fingers. I must try using pastels sometime in the future, as I am hooked after this experiment. Thanks to my daughter Lucy too, who let me use her bright sparkly eye shadows and Kate who left behind some odds and ends of make up which helped in the making of this. Paper: Gainsborough Pastel/Felt textured paper, colour mid grey. Size: 310mm x 225mm White areas were painted with Matisse Titanium White paint Faces are always interesting aren’t they? I had a picture of a scarab and wanted to incorporate it. This is an ancient symbol for good luck. It can be worn near the heart or displayed in many other ways to continue it’s 4,000-plus year history of bringing good luck. Nail polishes were used to colour it.
