Where I live, a river borders our garden, and off this river, are several small lakes or ponds. One evening, whilst with a group of artists, we decided to illustrate this particular pool of water. Although the contents are simple - a couple of trees, grass, water and sky, the overall effect is one of harmony with nature and, an inviting space to sit and enjoy the world go by. This is a watercolour painting on 300 gsm paper.
