Although not always on the top of the pops list where paintings are concerned, I quite enjoying doing still-life work. In this painting there are a number of different textures, shapes and materials, that combine to make a harmonious whole. This work does not demand one's attention over-much, but it can pull together a new colour scheme or just blend in quietly with old-fashioned one. This work is executed in watercolour on 180 gsm paper.
