This is a painting of a neighbour's cat as he peers through long grasses in the hope of finding something, preferably edible. This is a large, glossy, well fed and amiable beast who equally loves the great out-doors and a comfortable chair indoors - with hopefully a human being already ensconsed there - on whom he can lie and go to sleep! This work is illustrated in watercolour on heavy duty paper.
