I could not be described as a lover of sheep, but when I came across these three, nestled together in a neighbour's pasture, I could not resist painting them. These animals give off a sense of timeless tranquility and the soft balmyness of the day, completed the essence of the scene. In this instance I used acrylic paint on heavy duty paper and varnished the work.
