Love the combination of colours you’ve chosen Anjana. Not only do they reflect the subtle shades and tones of shadows but also sit so well along side each other.

Thank you Katy, definitely a subject outside my comfort zone. I had a shaky start with the shadows, realised having pools of paints ready in the right consistency helped. 11"x14" in watercolour on rough paper. I will have to attempt this again as various things have gone wrong! True to the photo I leaned the tree to the left but don't think that helps the composition.
