Watercolour 12"x16" Photo reference courtesy of Rod Rolt. As I found out through Painters Online that it is national drafonfly week, thought I will paint one on a wash that was already prepared with lots of clingfilm texture. Tricky to strike a balance between the wings to be noticeable yet transparent. Will leave it at this stage, as I feel it is finished .. for now anyway!
